Hi, I would like to know if there are any tools/Utility available which can compare the VSAM file generated on Mainframe with a VSAM file created on MicroFocus. Hi, I have a small problem, Visual Cobol for Eclipse 7.0 constantly compiles all sources although no changes have been made!? The compile process takes forever... Under Net Express there was the "Rebuild" and the "Rebuild All". How can I tell Visual Cobol that it should only compile the changes and not everything!?

I am no longer able to compile BASIC programs using the Connection.The program I am editing and attempting to compile DOES BELONG TO THE ACCOUNT I AM CONNECTED to, but this error has began recently. I'm not aware of any changes (perhaps VS Code extension updated?)Any steps I can take to troubleshoot and/or workaround this issue? VC8 on VS2022 in Windows 11. A program that worked in VC6 fails as when trying to debug it falls straight into the Declaratives. The project type is int/gnt.

Getting 163   Illegal character in numeric field error in the numeric field. While debugging, value for the field is initially getting displayed as junk  in numeric field. When we recheck the same field, the correct value gets displayed as shown in snapshot below. Just curious, before I build it, if anyone has a script or program that initiates a screen capture when starting an AccuTerm session? What I'm proposing is that a capture session be started using the append method with the file name being the date/time and the user name or other information that would make the session capture unique. I'm cloning from a repository based  on a Windows server with files in UTF-8.The repository contains files named XXXXXX.pli I'd like to clone to z/OS with the target codepage IBM-1047, but I cant get it to workI have placed .gitattributes file in the repository and also in the target work dataset,but I get no codepage conversion.Where should .gitattributes be located and are the any other setting there must be switched on/off or set ? Our DBA alerts us for the use of implicit transactions that degrade the performance of the application.
