I will not bother pasting code because that does not seem to be the issue.  I have SQL in an internal PROC to grab details about a vendor record.  When I run the code in the program, it codes not find the values SQLSTATE 02000.  When I run the SQL from the command line while in debug for the same session (read:library list), the SQL works.  Go figure!!! Hi,Is there a Uniface function that checks if a string is a valide email address ?If not, is there a simple to do it with the match pattern ?  We use it to successfully to check if a field is numeric with : If (MyString != '(-)#*(.)#*') Message/info "Non numeric value", but I can't find how to ckeck if MyString contains only authorized character with @ in middle and .fr or .com  or any other else at the end.Thanks for adcance.Laurent.​------------------------------Laurent MerotRocket Forum Shared Account------------------------------

Am I correct in assuming that it is not possible to set the TN3270 listener so that it only accepts particular TN3270 screen sizes? I can see that you can set a default but not restricted the accepted values. The problem is that the embedded Rumba TN3270 client defaults to 27x132, with no way I can see to change it. This doesn't work with my IMS application, which only has the MFS defined for 24x80. I know I can switch to another TN3270 client that does permit setting the terminal size. But, I'm wondering why do I have to? After all, on the real mainframe our TN3270 clients are set to mod 5 (27x132), but they automatically conform to the logmodes set by the VTAM applications. For example, when I select ISPF, my terminal is mod 5, but when I select an IMS region, the terminal is restricted to mod 2 -- without having to change the terminal settings. So it seems like there should be a way to define this in Enterprise Server, but I can't find it.#EnterpriseDeveloper

i am getting a runtime error "Load error : file '_EXTNAME'". I am using external Variables. Ubuntu cobol server 7.0 (Update 4). On V6.0 it works fine. Is there a path or a file missing?

Status: DeliveredBy default, we will take the previous version after another checkout of a component. It would be helpful if this frequent process could be done in one workstep.If a component during its modification was changed at the baseline, the new baseline version of the component must be taken over again in the package via checkout. Afterwards the developer will check the last modification version against the new baseline version.   Our standard process is, the previous version is reactivated in the package after the checkout.   Because we process a large amount of components in this way, it would be helpful for us to be able to do this in one work step (checkout and reaktivating the last modification version).

Forgive me if this question has already been asked/answered but I couldn't find a way to search for this on the forum for Universe only.When debbugging a Universe program by putting DEBUG, or multiple DEBUG statements, in the program, then running the program.  Sometimes the program will break on the first DEBUG statement hit but then will not break on any other DEBUG statements and finish running the program.  To resolve this I've had to put input statements in the program and then CTRL-BREAK to get into the debugger.  This is very annoying.  Has anyone else run across this issue or know how to fix the issue?Thanks,Harry------------------------------Harry HambrickSenior Software DeveloperRooms To Go IncSeffner FL US------------------------------

Hello, There is a problem when opening a workspace from a previous version of Acubench, particularly Acubench 10.0.1. Although I can open the .evt and .cbl files without any problem in Acubench 10.4.1, when I click Form1 to open it, sometimes Acubench crashes, and sometimes it doesn't.  I enclose the project for additional help. Hi All, New to MicroFcous, we are doing a case study to determine the feasibility of using MicroFocus on AWS.  Can we use the same load from Mainframe to run it in Micro focus AWS, or we need to bring the Cobol program and recompile them on Micro Focus ?
