Hi UnifAce Don't know if this is an error, a bug or a feature:-)Assume a simple component to work with in IDE.Modify the proccode in an entity proc container (UXGROUP)Now call an external component (via IDE-Plugin) which loops through all proc containers of the component. a) In the external programm I can read the stored UFORM but UXGROUP is still unmodified (i.e. the old proc code)b) Back in IDE, the trigger in UXGROUP is still the modified version .c) Try to compile the component to store the component for sure in wholed) got strange errros 1) After playing around an try to call the plugin once again:   [startUserOption] User action failed to complete. Hello, I've noticed that the zowe zmf command zowe zmf promote pkg -p 'BKA 000435' --pl 1 --psn 'PROMOTE' --pn 'TEST' -c 'PYTCC002' -t 'COB' has an error. The --component parameter does not work, according to the "ZMF Rest Services API List" url provided by testing the API, this should be named "componentName". An updated version of the Changeman ZMF plugin for zowe cli is now available.  Please note that you MUST uninstall the Micro Focus branded version of the plugin before attempting to install this new Rocket Software branded version.To uninstall the existing plugin issue the following command:zowe plugins uninstall @microfocus/zmf-cli-plugin  You can then check that the plugin has been removed :zowe plugins list The new version of the Changeman ZMF plugin for zowe cli is now published to npm and so is installed directly from NPM. We have had a corporate directive to remove anaconda software from our systems since Anaconda now requires a license. Hello, Accuterm 7.3.  This is probably a Windows 10 Pro (on a VM accessed via RDP) issue but it involves running Accuterm scripts.  This is Linux D3 via SSH. I have an scott.atsc file that does the D3 Linux login/logon for me and starts my scott.atcf session. When I double-click on that directly, all is good.... works from the desktop short-cut, and also from "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Atwin71\\scott.atcf", and from "Scott Ballinger > Documents > scott.atsc"  (I copied the .atcf and .atsc files from "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Atwin71\\" to "Scott Ballinger > Documents", although who knows where the "Desktop" or "Documents" folders actually are in the Windows "one-drive" universe (as in internet file-space, not UV)  anyway? So I dragged-and-dropped the desktop shortcut to the task bar and "pinned" it there. Now when I right-click on the taskbar AT icon I get a list of all the .atsc and atcf files I have ever touched.  If I pick the one on top (scott.atsc)  or the "recent" one, ev

Hello, I noticed, that since a few days ago, the ZMF Plugin for Zowe, doesn't let me complete "put" requests, like zowe zmf freeze pkg -p "BK# 014585.  This gives me following error message in the Console: PS C:\\Users\\ris0186> zowe zmf freeze pkg -p "BK# 014585"Command Error:The put request appeared to succeed, but the response was not in the expected format:Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0Error Details:Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0PS C:\\Users\\ris0186> I tried the Freeze command with the REST SERVICE site, there it works flawlessly. But if I take the URL and try to call it with Python and the import Requests (did work for me previously) I get the same error.I also tried the Promote command, but same result. Hi FreaksCurrently two developers are programmin on the same server by "remote desktop".The UnifAce-environment is the same but I do have have different shorcuts to IDE.EXE for them.I create  different ASN and INI*) files for both so that $user=a_name and IDE_STATE_a_name.zip are neatly separatedBut if the debugger is about to start, UnifAce always use UDB.CNF as the config file.Okay, I can modify UDBG.ASN to use another UDBG_a_name.CNF but this is only half the way.But I do not have any chance to tell IDE.EXE to call UDBG.EXE  with a modified commandline.So any idea to name the UDBG.CNF depending on the current user?Ingo PS *) is there any way to use a #FILE in a INI-File? We are working with another company to get their product working with ours - and they have written iframes to display their information.  Is there a way to call those iframes within Visual COBOL. P.S. We are only on Version 5.0 of the software - we are well aware that we need to upgrade. We just cannot at the moment. 

Hi, I have a weird issue with uniface 9.6.  When I try run a form for a particular record, Uniface crashes out ( Uniface 9 has stopped working).  But... when I run the same form with the same record in debug mode, I works fine. Has anyone seen this before?  What could be the cause./solution  Thanks for your help. I have installed the Microfocus Visual Cobol 9 after downloading the product from the "">www.microfocus.com/.../overview". I have also installed a community edition of Visual Studio 2022 prior to the Visual Cobol install, and I can develop .net applications in it. However I am unable to create any of the "Visual COBOL" template projects. Creating these gives an error in Visual Studio. I cannot even open a COBOL file and when I try to do so, I can see the an error listed below the ribbon(Screen shot attached) in Visual Studio. The error reads as follows "Visual Cobol for Visual Studio does not have a valid License". When I try to install the License following the visual studio link in the error message, I get the error shown in the attached screenshot. Please note that I have already installed the Visual Cobol License Manager and activated the product on the Microfocus Site. Hi Guys,I've got a weird issue affecting a couple of my users.The users all use SB Client V6.3.1 and login to the GUI interface, where they have access to SB + menus and have the facility to create their own User Menu, they typically put their "FAVORITES" that appears as a "window" on the left hand side of their main screen, which should look similar to this, dependant on what the user has added to the menuHowever this is what the users are seeingas you can see from the above the TEXT for the menu does not display correctly, at the point of logging on the text and menu structure is momentarily displayed.A full removal and re-install of SB Client doe not resolve the problem, nor does right clicking the the menu to Change FONT or any of the other items on this menuHas anyone else seen this problem and if so what is the work-around / fix please ??ThanksAndy

Just a heads up for anyone (like me !) who is not aware. Recent versions of D3 contain Accumath extended precision functions already loaded. I think in the distant past this package was an add-on, but now all the Basic callable functions are in dm,bp, or available directly as user exists. Using Accumath you can easily achieve the 15-16 digit precision of a Java double, or the higher precision of a BigDecimal.
