Hello The application in IBM i system that I manage does not use IBM i for any application data printing nor spooled file generating at all.  The app  produces all kinds of business reports as PDF files and distributes them out of IBM i to app client workstations through a WIndows server's repository.   All spooled files in IBM i are of system management information (QPJOBLOG and such) and nothing to do with the application output of any kind.    With this fact in mind, I want to reduce iCluster workload in having to keep track of print and spooled file data in QAUDJRN.   So, I remove *SPLFDTA and *PRTDTA entries out of the system value QAUDJRN while all replication groups are stopped.  But when I start back all groups, I notice the following messages in event log that iCluster add them back  !!                                                          iCluster Event Log                                                                                                                   

Good Afternoon, We have a few users who are having issues with Rumba 10.1 after a windows 10 update last week. The PC's are Latitude 7420's and 7430's with Windows 10 Enterprise and version 22H2. We have the Rumba package that includes Eagle1, Source Bridge, Talon, Tinet, Black Knight and then Rumba 10.1. None of the applications seem to open correctly as they open like normal for 5-10 seconds then immediately close. We have tried uninstalling/restart/re-install, unable to rollback windows update, installing manually with admin rights (nothing happens), installing via Microsoft Company Portal (fails), and no event viewer errors. What are some other steps we can take to possibly resolve the issue? I am not very familiar with the Rumba platform but the number of users experiencing this crash is slowly growing and I would like to look at all options in possibly resolving this. Hey there, So I have been tasked with coming up with a few new methods to maintain data files for the company I am working with. Traditionally, all the data modifications have been done via a pass program or using Alfred. This is fine for some tasks but using SQL would be much more efficient and save a lot of time in some areas, especially ad-hoc based data modifications. However, I am having some troubles getting any sql statements to work aside from select statements or single row inserts or updates. The selects all work fine and I can insert a single row or update a single row. However, the insert and updates both return errors.  VISION: Cannot update [TABLE NAME],Temporary log errorState: S1000; Native: -22; Origin: [TOD][ODBC][GENESIS] I get the same sqlstate and native error for all the statements, all having to do with a temporary log error. Any assistance with this would be so greatly appreciated! #AcuXDBC#SQL

I have found when using the real time monitors option 8 from the main menu.    The information on the source system does not always match the target system.  at   times the number of S/O and OSS are different.  and when a file is refreshed the status is only show on the target system.  Basically we are back to using option 80 on the source system and option 81 on the target system . I thought that my DDM settings  might be the issues. so i set the ddm attributes to use *usrid on both systems and restarted the DDM server.     What cause the monitors to be different or is this something that will be corrected in a future release.  thanks. ------------------------------Duane GingerichSEAble-One Systems Inckitchener ON CA------------------------------

We want to extract Layer Isolation Report which includes metrics ( client time, download time, retry time, Time to first buffer, SSL Handshake, Connection, DNS Time ). Our Client wants all this metrics in Report format. Unable to extract them in report format from APM.

Hello, I am randomly encountering this error during the run of my VBA macros on the 10.1 Rocket TE (32bit) V10.1.4.4556: "ErrNbr: -2147467259, ErrDescript: Method 'getDisplayText' of object 'IWhllObj' failed" We have recently upgraded from BlueZone 8.1 (64bit) TN5250 to Rocket 10.1 (32bit) TN3270. With our previous version, we have created many automations with VBA macros for our business. With this transition, we are seeing the above error often. We will run the script as usual and at some point, this will flag and cause our file to "Fail Save" and report the error. On restart to step thru, the macro will be unable to progress past the first "SESSION.READSCREEN" command. However, I have an If SESSION.CONNECTED=true command prior that the macro is able to step thru no problem.  I've tested other commands and SESSION.CONNECTED, SESSION. SESSION.FULLNAME, SESSION.GETSESSIONID, SESSION.GETSESSIONID all work accurately. But if I attempt to do SESSION.READSCREEN, GETDISPLAYTEXT, SENDKE

Hi, thanks to a few AccuTerm Training YouTube videos I have started to move forward but have hit a problem I cant yet resolve. I am trying to create a screen that show customer details, basic customer info with Rep Code and name (looked up from Reps file)   that's working.   Next step - to be able to update these details, simple stuff works but I am stuck on the Rep Code.   I have created a list box which should show the Rep code but no its blank.    Then I have created a click event which populates the Rep List with code in first column and Name in second that works and allows me to select a different Rep problem is that the new Rep code is not shown, new Rep name is shown via the validate event for the Rep code I simply can not get the Rep Code to show in the box for it  I am sure that I am doing something very simple wrong but cant find it. Can anyone help please  p.s. the training videos get very near the answer but leave it as something for future development of the training app -

Hi Team, We are trying to generate successor and predecessor report in analyzer tool.  We have CA7 scheduling information (this information we have extracted from CA7 tool as txt file) with us and trying to import into our tool. After importing we are trying to generate successor and predecessor report, but nothing happening.  Can someone help me with steps configuration involved in importing? I have a 5 gig  file that has 7 million records. the record ids are like this : 7060834*11, 5425655*84, 1931679*19. Should this be a hashed file or a dynamic file? OCTCR46A204001/KM000007410 documented a ZMF4ECL problem that was liable to occur when a user’s TSO password contained a special character. For example, a user whose password contained an ampersand (‘&’) character receives an 'ICH408I...INVALID PASSWORD GIVEN' response at logon time with a SER8210E message visible either alongside the ICH408I or in the ZMF Server started task output. Hello! We have recently updated from BlueZone 8.1 (64bit) TN5250 to Rocket TE 10.1 (32bit) TN3270 MainFrame Display. We had previously developed many scripts and automations with the previous version in the VBA macro component that we are now having issues with after this update. The big issue currently encountered is: "Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': We run the VBA macro as usual. It works for a few minutes. It will randomly close during the script citing: Run-time error '-2147467259' We will attempt to restart the macro and the first encounter of "SESSION.READSCREEN (buf,len,col,row) will result in "Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': Method 'ReadScreen' of object 'IWhllObj' failed. "SESSION.WRITESCREEN (str,row,col)" will result in "Run-time error '-2147467259 (80004005)': Class not registered." I am attempting to incorporate a browser control that does what we need it to do.  I generated a def file using NetDefGen.  When I add a screen section entry referencing this control, I get an intermixed screen format error when compiling.  I am using the 10.5 compiler.  Here is the screen section entry: I can find no reference to this error in the documentation.

FD missing for file filename.  How do I fix this syntax error?

I applied for and received a free license to download and use COBOL-IT\\Microfocus Visual COBOL for Visual Studio.  I was able to download the software and it does open Visual Studio but there is a application error message “Visual COBOL for Visual Studio does not have a valid license” and when I attempt to create a new COBOL project it throws an error “Class is not licensed for us.” I tried entering the Serial number from the email I got from PRO-SoftwareLicensesDownloads@microfocus.com and I tried entering the file name and path for the license file and get the “Error installing licenses…” message.
