Acucobol support says it should be possible to control a serial port on the local PC from the Acuthin client running there, but didn't have a direct answer. They suggested we check out this forum. Does anyone on this forum know how to do address the local COM1: port when running Acuthin client on the local PC?

Thanks ever so much for the sample program. We got only one compile time error message when using version 6: "MESSAGE BOX requires version 4.0 runtime". We will clean that up and give it a try with Acuthin. Will let you know if we are successful or not.

My error. The compile batch file I was using was compiling down to version 3.2. I corrected that and everything compiles cleanly. Thanks again!
