Accessing Webservices

We are using 8.1.3 with no plans to upgrade anytime soon. We are needing to access some web services (using soap/XML).  A solution that works for both UNIX and windows environments would be best, but a windows only solution could work ok too.

Does anyone have any suggestions for an easy, cheap solution to access web services from ACU 8.1.3? Where to start looking, or some sample code to share would be great.

Thanks

Upgrading to 9.1 might be the easiest.  9.1 added RMnet which allows your extend program to be a web services client for any type of web service, including SOAP.
