Beginning with version 10.0, these are located in:
On Windows (replace the n.n with product subversion):
C:\\Users\\Public\\Documents\\Micro Focus\\extend 10.n.n\\sample
On Unix/Linux platforms:
The sample folder is just below the selected product install location
