Problem:

Acu4GL for MSSQL version 8.1.0 is installed properly on Windows XP with no errors. However, while attempting to connect to a Microsoft SQL Server 2005 database the program encounters an error: 9d,17.

Resolution:

Verify that the argument for configuration variable A_MSSQL_DEFAULT_CONNECTION is a valid server name or its IP address rather than the name of a database.
