We would like to link a 'copy book' to all our linkage sections in our projects that can be dynamic in the fact that we can update the 'copy book' and it would update in all projects. We have tried to use the LINK option on the Linkage screen (right click and link)...it does add the 'copy book' to the project but it is a static copy. If the 'copy book' is updated an the project is pulled back up the changes are not shown. To make the changes appear we have to use the Reload option on the right click menu on the linked file. I did notice in the .lks files the 'copy book' is shown as COPY 'copy book' but the project in bench does not update???

Is there anything in AcuBench that will do this function automatically so we do not have to go into each project and reload the file?

Any other ideas would be appreciated also.

I believe for AcuBench the reload is the only way. AcuBench and AcuBench project are able to be run from a command line interface ... Chapter 3: Workbench Concepts > 3.5 Development Approaches > 3.5.4 Working with Large Applications > 3.5.4.3 The command-line interface to AcuBench

This would allow you, when you update a copybook to run a script that updates your projects.

We LINK to a copybook, and we don't have this problem.

When we compile, we do it from a command prompt, and not inside AcuBench.

And this works fine.
