A customer of mine recently compiled a program on a windows machine Acucobol Version 5.2.0.1 that was previously compiled on an earlier version. The program uses old field Accept Statements. Now the users are forced to hit before exiting the field when previously if the field was completely filled an would not be necessary. No changes were made to the accept statement. Is there a compile option or configuration option I am missing?

    I don?t know what has been before, but in 5.2.1 it is possible to add :
    autoterminate

    to your entry-field.
    then it should do what you need.

    but i am not sure if that is that you are looking for :confused:

    But that would mean every accept statement would have to be changed. Isn't there some configuration variable or compilation variable that would allow me to say all accepts are accept exacts?
