We recently upgraded a client from Acu 4.3 to Acu 8.1.0. The client is running on a 25 user network. The server runs Windows NT 4 and is a stand alone machine. The work stations are running Windows XP and are mapped to the server.
We are eperiencing a problem after installing version 8.1.0 on the Windows NT server. When we try to connect from a work station we get an error "the application failed to start because the configuration is incorrect. Re-installing may correct the problem." We have tried re-installing, but the error persists. We are able to run the application on the server, but not from the workstations.
Can anybody shed some light on this ?

You can find the Microsoft Redist DLLs on the Supportline Web Page (you will need to log in with your Supportline credentials):

The files you want are in 8121-redist-32.zip (or -64 if you're on 64-bit).

NOTE that this is for 8.1.2.1 not 8.1.2 which was pulled. You should NOT be using 8.1.2 as there are issues with Window focus and with accept recursion limit. You can download the complete 8.1.2.1 installation there too and your 8.1.2 licenses will work for that.

I downloaded 8.1.2.1 and the DLLs and they work fine.
