we are using ACUCUBOL-GT version 6.2.0.1

we are running ACUCOBOL on a unix system

we have been getting a error message on our unix console "/dev/console" that is as follows "ACUSHARE error subtracting user "console" not found".

we start acushare as follows "acushare -start > /dev/console".

There does not seem to be a set pattern on when we get this error messages. I have not been able to find this error message in the ACUCOBOL manuals.

We have a maximum of 100 user acushare license, but we seldom get over 30 or 40 users on the system at one time.

Any ideas or suggestions.

This error occurs when Acushare cannot find a user in the list of current list that it maintains. The message contains the word "error" but this shouldn't cause alarm as Acushare puts this message out because it could not perform the action that it was asked to do (expected behavior).

Reasons for this error to occur. Runtimes started then Acushare is killed (like in over night kron jobs) then a new Acushare is started the next day by script.

Users killing the process ungracefully.
