Hello everyone,I'm experiencing preformance problems with C$COPY used to transfer file from client to server via thin client (ver.7.0) environment. Transferring 40/50 Mb files evn using ZLIB or none
AGS_SOCKET_COMPRESS option on a Linux server at the 2nd C$COPY launched runtime starts to struggle to deliver bytes to destination file (after an initial exploit of 3/4 Mb after 3/4 seconds) it starts transferring 2/3 Kb every 3/4 seconds and so it goes till the end. Moreover: Acuthin.exe process memory usage passes from 5/6 Mb before starting C$COPY, to 12/19 and even 35 Mb (on an XP Pro client) and it doesn't scale down after C$COPY termination.
One more thing:the whole process seems to be faster tranferring from server to client than from client to server.
Has anyone experienced similar problems?
Has anyone idea of what it can depends on? (we've already tried to switch off anti-virus softwares but with no valuable difference).
Thanks in Advance Giovanni.
