Hi,

i'm using this utility to have some informations from a file:

CBLUTL32 -info [name of the program] (in my case GESM0010.CBX)

i receive as answere this string:

gesm0010.cbx: size: 841719 (CD7F7), v6.0, VAX-mode, tables checked (24-Jan-2008
11:53:44)

i supposed to have as size 11776 byte like windows say with a simple 'dir'.
What is this size of 841719? What does it mean?

It is the size of the executable code. I think if you compile with a full listing, one of the numbers you will see is the "size" which should be the same number reported with cblutil -info

It is not the size as reported in Windows or on Unix

Ty, I had already an answer from the Support.

That number is the sum of:

Code Size
Data Size
Shared Data
Extra Segment
Thread Segment
Program Size

Ty again
