Hello
A quick question. Is it possible to select records from a grid and paste them to an Excel spreadsheet (or anywhere else for that matter)?

you can use the CLIPACU.DLL found on this site in the sample file downloads, I'm pretty sure a sample program is included as well. It's pretty straight forward. just call it passing by reference the data you want to copy to he clipboard.

I just added a popup menu to any of my grids allowing a copy to clipboard function then I gather up all the data on the selected row, format it how I want and call the clipacu.dll then users can paste it anywhere they want after that.

I'm running the sample program and it copies the string to the clipboard, but the Paste command is never activated when I go into Word to paste it.
