This seems very basic to me and I tried to see if this has been covered before but can't find it...

What we are wanting to do is to stop the control name from being prefixed with the screen name when we place a new control on the screen using acu bench.

For examplei if I had a screen called mnoe.

When I add a new check box, it's name is defaulted to mnoe-Cb-1, mnoe-Ef-1 for entry fields and mnoe-La-1 for labels and so on.

I realize I can modify this name myself, but as I'm sure is the same for all developers, saving time and keystrokes is a good thing.

Any help on where I can change this setting, if possible would be appreciated.

    I'm pretty sure this can not be changed. AcuBench has to keep track of controls (and whether they're on top of frames or below frames) in order to generate the appropriate code.
