Hello,

How to get the current line from a grid-control after modify statement?
I've used inquire statement directely after modify statement to get the current line number in Y but I don't get it.

Any tips!!

    What are you trying to do?

    You will find that event-data-1 & event-data-2 may well contain the X & Y co-ordinates of the cell you are in in the first place.
    i.e GOTO-CELL-MOUSE

    I don't mean inquiring the grid when it's filled with data, I mean when I'm still in a process of reading from a file and adding records to the grid, I need to know which record line is it?

    OK then.
    We do this when adding populating a grid with records.


       MODIFY Order-Lines-Gd, RECORD-TO-ADD S-ORL-RECORD
       INQUIRE Order-Lines-Gd, LAST-ROW = WS-LAST-ROW
       MODIFY Order-Lines-Gd, X = 1, Y = WS-LAST-ROW
                                                 HIDDEN-DATA = ORL-KEY
