I just wonder how acuCOBOL could be applied to Chinese environment(the data need to be stored and processed is Chinese Charactor)?

Storing the Chinese characters is not a problem. To accept and display the characters you should look at the CODE_SYSTEM configuration variable to see which option is the best for you.

It looks acuCOBOL v8.0 is mandatory.
