Could someone please tell me where the HPUX versions of the windows .dll's are held,?

You are looking for .sl files (shared library). They are scattered throughout the system, but are mostly in /lib and /usr/lib (I find on our HP/UX machine, /lib is a symlink to /usr/lib.)

You can find all of them with the shell command

find / -name \\*.sl -print
