Is there a way to programaticly check if a computer has a connection to the internet ?

Maybe thru the register ?...

You could do this fairly crudely by using C$SOCKET to attempt a connection to port 80 of some well-known web address such as "www.google.com". But that would mean relying on the fact that Google will always be in business.

You could use "www.acucorp.com". :D
