Hello,We have been including this file in our BIN folder for our software installs. Now we have started to call some .Net objects from our programs, and we found that on some machines, having the mscoree.dll in the BIN folder causes an error stating that mscorwks.dll cannot be loaded.
When we remove the mscoree.dll from the BIN folder (per another post on this forum), the error goes away and everything works fine.
Ideally we would like to just remove the mscoree.dll from any future installs, but we aren't sure if this will cause other issues.
Does anyone know why it is there and what it is used by AcuCobol for? Are there any possible drawbacks if it is removed?
Thank you,
Paul
