hi everybody,

I need the ability to inquire -at least- the following grid properties:

cell-color
row-color
bitmap-handle
bitmap-number
cell-font

it seems to me not a big effort...thanks

Any updates to this? It was a good request...in fact, anything and everything that can be added to the grid would be excellent...another one would be:

Giving it the same visual upgrade that the rest of the controls got via 8.1 (drop down combos have mysteriously been excluded as well).

The biggest problem we have is keeping that modern edge that can show off through your applications. The biggest hurdle COBOL programmers have had is the marketing aspect of the UI. I agree functionality is key, but when you look at today's apps and the visual pop controls can take on these days, it needs to be more of a priority.

Look at this way, you're in a crowded mall watching people go by - who gets your most positive attention, the striking hot blonde or the 80-year old grandmother?
