I am using this accept and i want to overide the content of the entry field i try to push the insert buttom and the entry it is still with the insert mode

I believe that you are comparing an entry field to a text editor where using the insert key overides the character that is present. You could accomplish this by not using the no-autosel property thus elimiating any value in the field as soon as someone starts typing or by using the keystroke configuration variable and map the edit function of the insert key to do a delete.
