Is it possible to add a hint (text that pops up when the mouse hovers over the pushbutton) to a regular pushbutton? Or is it required that a bitmap be associated with the pushbutton?

    The title of a push-button become the push button hint. So if you are not using a bitmap push button the title will be visible and no hint will pop up.

    What I have done to hack around this in the past is create a 1px dot that is the approximate color of the button and assign it as the bitmap for that button. This has "worked" for me. You can then assign a title to the button to get your hint.
