Does anybody know if there is a report generator (not acubench) out there?

I don't know if they still do, but Flexus did many years ago.

SouthWare is currently marketing a ReportWriter for the Acucorp world that is build completely around COBOL code. It contains a COBOL code generator that builds a Data Bridge that allows you to access your Acucobol data.

SwiftDataTools builds a Data Dictionary directly from your XFDs and allows you to customize the COBOL Data Bridge to manage your data in a way that is consistent with your other Acucobol programs.

The SwiftDataTools product includes a good ReportWriter and even an Import module that allows you to write back to your database (under your control with COBOL code).
