[archive] Reverse Engineering .psf File

Hello
Is there any way to "reverse engineer" a .psf file? I have the .cbl, .evt, .wrk,
.prd, .scr, .mnu files but do not have the .psf file. Is it possible to recreate it from the files I do have?

There is a way (kind of). Compile your program with -Zw and execute the program using --import. When your screen appears, right click on it and choose import screen. Go into AcuBench and create a new program in the Structure view. Go to the screen portion of the structure view and right click, choose add screen, change the Files of Type drop down box to the Screen Import File(*.out) and you should find your-screen.out file that was created by the compile and execute.

What this will not do is that you will have to go through all of the screen and controls and make sure that their event and exeception procedures get tied to the code that is in your evt file. You should copy the code from your event file and paste it into the New Programs Event Paragraph (Structural view)
