Again, this should be possible to do without using additional ActiveX controls.

It is currently impossible to implement 'thumbnails' for images that the user is browsing using the thin client.

Other Cobols implement this with a SCALED keyword on the bitmap control.

I agree as well. I wonder why nobody ever complained about this before? I'm currently working on adding pictures to a kind of inventory database. These pictures come from all kinds of sources: vendors, scanners, internet. So the formats of all these pictures are different. If we now want to show all these pictures nicely formatted on the screen, we have to adjust all these pictures to the same format to guarantee that they all fit nicely on the screen. Crazy!

It would be important for me to be able to reference a scaled bitmap on a push button. Many times, I include a bitmap on a push button, but would like to vary the size of the button (and associated bitmap) in some circumstances without having new bitmaps.

It has been "complained" about before, both DuncanK and I have brought it up in the past, this is not a new topic. Search the forums.
