I have an Acucobol application that sends emails with attachments using MAPI.DLL. This works well with Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express. However I get a memory allocation error when I use Windows Mail. I have debugged the application and have found that error occurs when I call "MapiSendMail". Does anybody have any ideas ?

Thanks in advance

does it work if you don't send attach?
if so, double check the parameters for the attachment positions. I've found that as the main causes of MAV when I deal with MAPI.DLL. But I haven't tried the Vista Windows Mail.

good luck,
Luca

I get the same error irrespective of whether the email contains attachments or not.
