I have IIS on 2000 setup to use the cobol runtime with the following command d:\\Acucorp\\Acucbl520\\AcuGT\\bin\\wrun32.exe c d:\\inetpub\\trav\\files\\web.cfg %s%s

Now on 2003 I use the command as follows d:\\Acucorp\\Acucbl520\\AcuGT\\bin\\wrun32.exe c d:\\inetpub\\trav\\files\\web.cfg "%s%s"

I now get an error cgi application missbehaved.

Does any one have any idea how to set it up to work.

Why do you want to use the quotes?

Is it just here you are typing c, or do you do that in IIS as well?

the runtime will not recognize c. I have a sensation IIS might complain about that as well.

The only place the whole command is enterd is in the Home directory page under the configaration option where one can add different file types /MIME.

IIS has not complained about the c as long as the %s%s is with in " ". What I dont get is why microsoft made cahnge to the way they read the line as in 20oo server IIS5 you just place the command staraight in with no " " and it all works.

I am not saying that Windows will complain over c, but the runtime will. The runtime will not recognize c. This may be the cause why it fails.

I suggest you contact Tech support to be able to provide more details.

I was having a similar problem with cgi, what you have to do is also enable the web services extensions for cgi, I just allowed all unknown cgi extensions to work because the add extension does not seem to work if you enable just the wrun32.exe
