Hello
Has anyone ever run across the following grid behavior:
When the vertical scroll bar is clicked the horizontal scroll bar scrolls all the way to the right. When the horozontal scroll bar is clicked the vertical scroll bar scrolls all the way down to the end of the grid.
Does anyone have any ideas on whet might be causing this or how to troubleshoot it?

    I think I know what you mean.
    At a guess your cursor(selected grid cell) is sending the grid off in the scrolling manner.

    Is this on first execution or always happening?

    I think I know what you mean.

    After the control is displayed, try modifying the cursor position to somewhere sensible and see if that fixes it for you.
    MODIFY TheGrid, CURSOR-X = 1, CURSOR-Y = 2

    I tried it but it didn't work. I have tried various things to try to "reset" the grid such as disabling/enabling it, making it invisible/visible but nothing has worked. I believe the program is somehow interpreting a click on the scroll bar as a drag.

    What version are you running with?
    Are you able to post a fairly easy to replicate sample - if so, I'd be happy to see if I can help.

    I'm running version 6.2. The program would be hard to replicate. It's a large program that is pulling data from a SQL Server database. We have hundreds of grids in our programs but this is the only one that acts this way. Very strange.

    Are you running via acuthin or wrun32?

    In 6.2 via acuthin there is not a fool proof method of disabling drag.

    However, In the GOTO-CELL-DRAG event do a "MOVE EVENT-ACTION-FAIL TO EVENT-ACTION"
    That won't work unless you're running via wrun32

    When we were running via thin client prior to V8.0 we captured the X&Y properties of the grid during the BEGIN-DRAG and then set the X&Y properties back to the saved values during the END-DRAG

    We figured it out. We are displaying a message box when a grid row is right-clicked. We changed it to be performed on event procedure Msg-Grid-Rbutton-Up instead of Msg-Grid-Rbutton-Down and it seemed to clear it up.
