[archive] Vision file system on UNIX

We have been using the libvision.a static library, but have a requirement for a shared-object version of the library so we can link it with a dynamically-loaded piece of code on Linux (we currently do this on Windows with no problems). Is there a shared object version of the Vision API for Linux?
