I have an application using the menubar2 program which uses the w$menu calls. I'm experiencing an anomally among various windows platforms. Up and down arrrows as well as escape cause exceptions on two system, a standalone noteboook with windows xp and a PC clone Windows NT workstation using thin client. On first display of the menubar if the user keys the up or down arrow or escape key the logic to execute a program is executed and it will select any program in the table that corresponds to the return from 'accept selection from escape key'.Exceptions are not produced by a stand alone PC with XP. The user has to mouse click on the menu bar and then can navigate with the arrow keys. The application does not use Kestroke environmentals internally or with an external config file. Is there some windows setting that can effect keystroke behavior?
