Has anyone come across this problem with COBOL??It is possible that versions after 5.2 may not have this problem ??
We have a data entry screen with the following fields:
Item number - numeric - right justified
Quantity - numeric - right justified
Description - Alphanumeric - left justified
Price - numeric - right justified
tax code - numeric - 1 digit - left justified
When the users of the program have the wheel mouse hovering on the left justified fields it is possible to use the wheel to scroll up or down. However, when the mouse is on a right justified field, there is no scrolling ability - up or down. The mouse has to be moved to activate scrolling.
It does not appear to be a Windows issue and we can't find any reference to mouse scrolling in the manuals.
Can anybody throw slome light on this?
