Hello Forum

We have a lot of merging names and adressing into documents.

For now we are making a file of all our names and adresses with a program, and then we merge them with a header document, which is written before in word, into a new document.

It is a very slow proces, especially if there are 8 different files with names and 8 different documents.

What I would like is to have my program to make the merging with the headerdocument while the program is running.

What I need is everytime a have a name, then I read from the headerdoc. where to place it in the new document and then writes it there with all the text from the headerdocument

When all is done I have a document for meybee 100 pages whith a name of a customer in the top of every page.

I hope you can understand this odd explanation.

Have anybody a solution for that or tried something similar.

I am not sure I understand you correctly, but I will send you our extensive MailMerge sample, test it and if it works please let us know. I don't post the zips here both because they've been posted before and because the word def file is rather large.
