hello,
We updated to extend 9.1 last week on WIN7 64bit system. The key we used is for "ACUCOBOL-GT Dev Sys Version: 9.1 Release: 0 For: x64 running Win XP, Vista, Windows 7, Server 2003, Server 2008 64 bit".

The compiler program is in 32 bit directory - C:\\Program Files (X86)\\Micro Focus\\Acucbl910\\AcuGT\\bin which is all right. But we got the error "License file 'C:\\Program Files (X86)\\Micro Focus\\Acucbl910\\AcuGT\\bin\\ccbl32.alc' inaccessible".

We also found the key file ccbl32.alc in C:\\ProgramData\\Micro Focus\\extend\\9.1.0\\x64 instead of C:\\ProgramData\\Micro Focus\\extend\\9.1.0\\x86.

Does this mean the licece key created a key file for 64bit compiler program?

Please help,thanks!

Hmmm, yes there is something amiss. There should not be a Dev Sys for 64 bit, there is a 64 bit runtime for Windows, however the compiler is only 32 bit (even on a 64 bit system).

You should get a different Dev Sys license, please ask for a 32 bit Dev Sys. This should put a ccbl32.alc in C:\\ProgramData\\Micro Focus\\extend\\9.1.0\\x86

Thanks, I get the right key today but the compiler program still not work.
I have reinstalled the @extend 9.1 but seems someting still wrong.
The new error is "cannot find required library ccbldll.dll" when I compile a prorgam or created a new project in ACU-bench.
I have checked the "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Micro Focus\\Acucbl910\\AcuGT\\bin" and the "ccbldll.dll" did existing.

Please help ASAP, thanks!

The "ccbdll.dll" also exists in "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Micro Focus\\Acucbl910\\acubench".

I ran the ccbl32.exe in Command Prompt as well but not output file was created and no error or warning message was displayed.

You must set the AcuBench directory first in the PATH. So your PATH should be:

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Micro Focus\\Acucbl910\\acubench;C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Micro Focus\\Acucbl910\\bin;

Thanks. It was still a license key problem and has been fixed.
For some reason the compiler program did not work by new key.
I have got a temporary key file ccbl32 and will get right key soon.
