Hello,

Since GDPR will be implemented on 25 May 2018, I am looking for a solution to do data encryption on SQL Server column level. I know SQL Server 2016 SP1 has a "Always Encrypted" feature that can do the column-level encryption. I would like to know does Acu4GL support "Always Encrypted" feature if SQL Server 2016 SP1?

Regards,

We currently don't support this feature. This requires a change in the ODBC driver used, and requires us to change the connection string, at a minimum. There may be other things that will need to be changed as well, which we won't know until we actually start working on this feature.
