Hi all,
We are using the Acu report generator for creating reports. The created report (an html file) is printed to a third party PDF printer (cute PDF, Bullzip PDF etc). As I understand, the AcuBenchPrint.dll uses Internet Explorer functions to print or preview the file.
Up to recently, if report filename was eg. jack.html, resulting PDF filename was jack.pdf. Some weeks ago, our Win 10 computers were updated to 2021-04 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 20H2 (KB5001330). Since then, resulting PDF filename is random eg. DF540OP.pdf. Keeping the original filename is very important for our applications.
Is there any solution to this?
Thank you.
Good afternoon, prolinkdata_gr
As you're reporting, this behaviour has been caused by a Microsoft Update.
Unfortunately, this is something completely out of reach for the ACUCOBOL-GT Customer Care and Development.
The only solution I can see, here, is to remove the Update from this machine.
And try to contact Microsoft on their Forum:

If this issue is affecting a larger audience, Microsoft will work on it and provide a new fix soon.
Best Regards.
