This year we released one of the biggest updates for Rocket ACUCOBOL extend 11 -- Visual Studio Code support. The response has been incredible, and we’re thrilled by the enthusiasm and feedback from the community. Huge thanks to everyone who’s adopted the extension and shared their thoughts.

Last week, we rolled out version 1.2.0, which includes: 

Enhancements 

  • Load COPY_PATH Environment Variable directory settings 
  • Working Storage Editor enhancements 
  • Highlight selected items in the project and file tree views

  • ACUW-2893 - Working Storage - Occurs and More dialogs have no indication of the target entry 
  • ACUW-2923 - Screen Designer: Combobox Control - frame exceeding container interferes with drawing other controls 
  • ACUW-2924 - Working Storage - moving records can add 78 into a read-only section 
  • ACUW-2954 - Working Storage - "select all" command from vscode menu doesn't work 
  • ACUW-2982 - Screen Designer: Row color pattern - should apply to each row in multi-row records 
  • ACUW-2983 - Screen Designer: Single column in row doesn't get colored for multi-row records 
  • ACUW-2984 - Screen Designer: Last row and column should have a divider 
  • ACUW-2985 - Screen Designer: Property row-dividers - should be applied to only the first row in multi-row records 
  • ACUW-3032 - Screen Designer: Screen color - using light colors doesn't save the correct number to the property 
  • ACUW-3033 - Screen Designer: Moving control with keyboard also moves the screen's scrollbar 
  • ACUW-3036 - Working Storage - failure to select Usage value 
  • ACUW-3037 - Undo issue after moving multiple controls with a status bar on the screen
