GETTING 9/006 error on delete statement for a record.

I am reading an indexed file on primary key.
The read is successful.

But when then after a read I am executing delete statement I am getting 9/006 error.

It says the ftrying to write in a file which is open for Input.
But The file is already open in I-O mode.

Any help ?

Hi, I think you probably need to ask this in another forum. Visual COBOL, Net Express, Server Express Acu or RM COBOL depending on the type of COBOL you are running.
