We're excited to announce the release of ContentEdge (formerly Mobius) 12.6.1, delivering new AI-powered capabilities and automation enhancements designed to help organizations unlock more value from their content, streamline workflows, and accelerate modernization initiatives.
A key highlight of the release is ContentEdge IDP Extraction, which uses GenAI to automatically extract structured metadata from complex, unstructured documents. By reducing manual effort and improving the speed and accuracy of content-centric processes, this innovation helps teams get more value from the information they already manage.
The new release also introduces significant advancements in Rocket Content Automation, including support for Agentic AI Tasks. These capabilities enable customers to build more intelligent, autonomous workflows that can perform work with less manual intervention. Additional enhancements such as instant test-run functionality, directory monitoring, streamlined deployment, and MCP integration make it easier than ever to design, test, and scale automation across the enterprise.
A great example of these capabilities working together is ContentEdge Contract Management. Organizations can use ContentEdge IDP Extraction to automatically identify and extract key contract metadata, such as renewal dates, expiration terms, obligations, and important clauses. Users then leverage ContentEdge Chat to quickly ask questions about contract content using natural language, reducing the need to manually search through lengthy documents. Combined with Rocket Content Automation and Agentic AI Tasks, organizations automate downstream processes such as renewal notifications, compliance reviews, approval workflows, and other contract-driven actions. Together, these capabilities help teams reduce manual effort, improve visibility into contractual obligations, and accelerate contract lifecycle management.
Beyond AI and automation, customers benefit from a refreshed user experience with enhanced Search Forms, Document Preview, and Email Preview capabilities, as well as guided deployment improvements that simplify installation and SSO configuration in Kubernetes environments. These customer-driven enhancements help organizations modernize operations while maintaining the reliability, governance, and scalability they expect from ContentEdge.
