Problem:

When the Borland AppServer 6.7 is un-installed, it shows "Uninstall Complete" but the following messages can be seen in the console:

The following items could not be removed:

Unable to remove directory: /home/omcusr/Borland/AppServer/jms/tibco
Unable to remove directory: /home/omcusr/Borland/AppServer/jms
Unable to remove directory: /home/omcusr/Borland/AppServer/var

Resolution:

When the un-installation is completed, check the installation directory and remove any unnecessary files and subdirectories. In addition, delete the files stored in the "C:\\Documents and Settings\\" (for example, AppServer) directory.

The uninstaller is started in the same mode in which the product was installed. For example, If the product is installed using silent installation, the uninstall will run in a silent mode too.
