Clarifying Information
Error Message
Defect/Enhancement Number AI-493
Cause This bug causes the Artix 5.5 JAX-WS runtime to ignore the secureSocketProtocol attribute when configuring a secure endpoint. For example:

    <httpj:engine-factory id="NoClientAuthHttpsSettings">
        <httpj:engine port="9001">
            <httpj:tlsServerParameters secureSocketProtocol="SSL_TLS" jsseProvider="IBMJSSE2">

This is particularly noticeable when using the IBM version of the JVM as it requires a value of "SSL_TLS" to be passed in order to enable SSLv3 negotiation.
Resolution This bug has been fixed in Artix 5.5.0.13
