Problem

When running the Apache web server as a windows service the following exception is seen in the IIOP connector log file: BIND FAILED: Corba Exception: CORBA::OBJECT_NOT_EXIST

Resolution

The exception is due to the fact the IIOP connector is unable to locate the BES user domain osagent. If the Apache web server is run within the context of a BES service then IIOP connector will pick up the osagent port assignment from the BES environment but running Apache in it"s own independent service requires the OSAGENT_PORT variable to be set in the system table.
