The irep server needs a rollback file to keep its internal data consistent. The file is created if it does not already exist, for example when launching the irep server for the first time. The "IRepName" specified in the command line is used to make up the name of the rollback file.

By default, the irep server creates the rollback file at the home directory. Is there a property to create this file in another location?

Resolution:

You can start irep with the absolute path along with the name of the irep.

For example: 

irep /opt/vbroker/85/myirep TestEvents.idl

From the above command, a file by the name of "myirep.rollback" will be created under the "/opt/vbroker/85/" folder.
