How are the list of IP addresses in the agentaddr file accessed?

Resolution

Following are the two paths to access the agentaddr file:

1. When the client/server tries to locate the osagent using the agentaddr file, the client will try to connect to the agent at the first IP address on the list. If no agent is found at that address, it will try for the second address and so on.

2. When the osagent uses the agentaddr file, the osagent will attempt to locate an osagent on each of the hosts listed in the agentaddr file.
