How is the license enabled during a direct registration?

Problem

How is the license enabled during a direct registration?

For e.g.: when we do registration via email we get reg*.txt file which is then placed in license dir. Similarly what happens when we do direct registration, as we do not see any files being updated.

Resolution

During the process of direct registration, the following events occur:

1) User invokes the registration wizard user interface and registers a serial number/key.

2) During the registration phase, save functionality is called from the wizard which generates the borland.lic file.
The borland.lic file and borland.pkg file is updated automatically to enable the license.
