Installer exits with exception (Linux/Solaris)

Solution:

If the installer exits with an exception this might be due to the fact that no X is installed on the host where you started the installer.

The installer can run without X, in a console mode. Start the installer with the parameter -i console to make it run in console mode.

Note that the Admin Console is a graphical user interface requiring X.

The DBC and SPS do not require X.
