| Cause | The wrong installer executable is being used. |
| Resolution | Orbix 6.3.4 is a full installer on all platforms. After downloading Orbix 6.3.4 there are two executables available: "asp" and "updater". "asp" is used for a full installation of Orbix 6.3.4. "updater" is used to upgrade to version 6.3.4 from an earlier version of Orbix. When using the latter the system will ask to provide the directory of the Orbix version to upgrade, by setting the IT_PRODUCT_DIR environment variable. |
