We are looking for Java upgrade to 1.8 ,

so was wondering to check if Artix 5.5.0 on Solaris can be used for Java8

We are looking for Java upgrade to 1.8 ,

so was wondering to check if Artix 5.5.0 on Solaris can be used for Java8

The current release is Artix 5.6.3 which supports Java 1.7 on Solaris 10 and 11 on both x86 and SPARC hardware.
