Description:

License Errors in I-DBC Proxy or the SPS

 

Resolution:

There are two licensing reasons why the DBC Proxy or the Security Policy Server will refuse to work:

1) Missing license

On the DBC Proxy host ensure the license file is available in the following directories:

<INSTALLDIR>/idbc/adm/license.txt (I-DBC)

<INSTALLDIR>/wsdbc/adm/license.txt (WS-DBC)

On the Security Policy Server ensure the license file is available in the directory

<INSTALLDIR>/sps/adm/license.txt

2) License expired

Check for the LicenseManagerLicense-ExpiredFailure event in the event log.
